At least 27 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. This is stated in the daily report of the Tokyo 2020 organizing committee, published on the official website of the Olympics.
It is noted that there are both personnel involved in the organization and holding of the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo and athletes among the patients. A total of three infected athletes are known, but it is not specified which country they are from and in which sport they compete.
On Thursday, July 29, 24 new cases were reported. During the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, the total number of detected cases among those involved in the Games reached 225.
