A resident of England named Harry Potter found at home a rare copy of the book “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.” The Briton sold it for $ 37 thousand. The Daily Mail draws attention to the story.

A 33-year-old man found an old book at home about his namesake-a literary hero. It was the first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. In 1997, the Briton received a book as a gift from his father. The novel was gathering dust under the stairs for a long time; as a result, the book was put up for auction and sold.

Harry Potter plans to spend the proceeds from the sale to fulfill the last will of his father, who died in 2017. The man dreamed that his ashes would be scattered over Africa after cremation.

“I am happy that the book has been sold. We plan to spend the money to bring my father’s ashes to Kenya,” Harry Potter said.
