One person died.
A car rammed into a building on Sunday evening, in which a restaurant is located, in the Van Nuys area of Los Angeles (California). According to the city fire service, at least one person was killed.
“A car drove into a commercial building (restaurant) and knocked down one visitor inside. Unfortunately, he was found dead at the scene. Five more people have non-life-threatening injuries,” the firefighters said in a published statement.
The local division of the ABC television company, in turn, claims that the car crashed into a store with paraphernalia for celebrating Halloween. According to him, the victim was a woman.
The suspect surrendered to the police at the scene of the crime. According to law enforcement officers, he had previously been detained for dangerous driving.
