A drug was found that “kills” the coronavirus by 70 percent

An international group of researchers has found out that the drug fenofibrate and its active form fenofibric acid can destroy the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in human cells. This is stated in an article published in the journal Frontiers in Pharmacology.

Fenofibrate is a drug that is used to reduce cholesterol levels in patients with risks of cardiovascular diseases. Scientists have drawn attention to it in search of a drug that can disrupt the ability of the coronavirus protein spike to bind to ACE2 cellular receptors.

Laboratory experiments on cell cultures have shown that fenofibrate can reduce the viral load by 70%. At the same time, it showed the same effectiveness against most strains of SARS-CoV-2. But its effectiveness against the “delta” strain of coronavirus is still being studied.

The scientists noted that fenofibrate is very cheap and available all over the world, so it can be very useful in low-and middle-income countries and patients who are not recommended for vaccination.

  1. I would take it. Before i would that so call vaccine. Why dont they tell people about it ? Instead of trying to FORCE people to take some experimental drug like that shot?!!

    • Yep,couldn’t have said it better, the people who are poked are getting sick and spreading the disease so what’s the point and you have the increased risk of side effects no thank you

  2. There’s also something in Meth that prevents one from attracting puemonia. Don’t give someone meth, that’s not what I’m saying…but isolate whatever it is that makes not getting sick possible. I know many meth head friends that can tell you they never get sick or even the flu.

  3. That’s because they’re too high to feel sick. Have them stop doing meth for one day and they are hurting all over.
    X- meth head.
