A new trailer for “Shaman King” has appeared online, featuring an excerpt from the opening theme for Soul Salvation.
The song was performed by Megumi Hayashibara, who voiced Anna. The actress is also responsible for the ending theme for Boku no Yubisaki.
The director’s chair is Joji Furuta, who directed the second season of The Seven Deadly Sins, and is scripted by Shoji Yonemura, who has a hand in Berserk and One Piece. The music is written by the composer of My Hero Academy, Yuki Hayashi.
Yo Asakura is voiced by Yoko Hikasa, who gave the voice to Diana from Witch Academy. In addition, most of the voice actors from the 2001 anime have returned to their roles.
The upcoming film adaptation will more closely follow Hiroyuki Takei’s original manga, as it did with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Along with this, “Shaman King” acquired an exact release date – April 1. And later, the anime series will appear on Netflix.
