Over the past few years, Google has been releasing not only flagship smartphones, but also their simplified versions with the prefix “a” in the name. Therefore, after the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, the Pixel 6a should come out. The 91mobiles edition and the OnLeaks insider presented high-quality renders of the future smartphone, as well as a 360-degree video that gives a complete picture of the design of the gadget.
Judging by the renders, the Pixel 6a will inherit the updated design of the Pixel 6 with a front-facing camera embedded in the screen and a rectangular main camera block, visually dividing the rear panel into two parts. By the way, it is made of glass. The phone will measure approximately 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm (10.4mm including the rear camera protrusion).
Also, the “pixel” should receive a 6.2-inch OLED display and two rear cameras with flash. The images show the volume rocker, power buttons and USB-C port.
It can be assumed that the Google Pixel 6a will be powered by a mid-range Tensor processor or even a Snapdragon 778G, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. The main camera can be the same as the Pixel 6, that is, with a Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor with a resolution of 50 MP.
