A small plane crashed into a building in Connecticut

Firefighters are working at the scene of the incident.

A small plane crashed, falling on a building in the city of Farmington (Connecticut) on Thursday. Local law enforcement agencies reported this.

“We responded to the incident with the plane falling on the building <…> Please avoid the [plane crash] area so that emergency crews can evacuate residents of the surrounding areas,” the local police said in a post on Twitter.

As the local TV channel KIRO 7 reports with reference to police data, the plane crashed over the head office of a company engaged in the production of industrial machine tools. The building is located one and a half kilometers from the Robertson Airfield in Plainville.

According to the local division of the NBC TV channel, firefighters are working at the scene.
