Vilnius Mayor Remigijus Simasius said that the street where the Russian Embassy in Lithuania is located will be renamed “Heroes of Ukraine Street.”

“Embassy of Russia, change your business cards: Heroes of Ukraine Street, 2. The business card of every employee of the Russian Embassy will now have to honor the heroes of Ukraine. And everyone writing a letter to the embassy will have to think about the victims of Russian aggression and the heroes of Ukraine. We have agreed that from now on the unnamed street that leads to the embassy from the street of Latvia will be called the street of Heroes of Ukraine. We will settle the formalities in the near future, on Wednesday, according to the law,” Simasius wrote on his Facebook page.

He also said that he had spoken with the Minister of Transport Marius Skuodis. “I suspect that the Lithuanian Post will not necessarily deliver letters if the address on them is specified incorrectly. The only building on Heroes of Ukraine Street will be the Russian Embassy,” he wrote.
