About 70 visitors to the exhibition in Las Vegas from South Korea have contracted coronavirus

Among them are managers and employees of large South Korean companies.

About 70 South Korean citizens who attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas have contracted coronavirus, the health authorities of this Asian country have reported.

Industry sources and one company reported that executives and employees of large South Korean companies were among those infected.

The test turned out to be positive in about 20 people from Samsung Electronics and about 6 employees of SK Group, the parent company for energy firm SK Innovation and chip manufacturer SK Hynix, the sources said.

They all attended the exhibition.
