Almost six months after the release of the OnePlus 8T, OnePlus has started the OxygenOS beta testing program for the smartphone.

The first assembly came out with the name OxygenOS Open Beta 1. Anyone can already install it. To do this, you need to download the firmware file from the official forum, upload it to your smartphone and install it. Then all the next test assemblies will fly by air. By the way, installing the firmware does not delete your smartphone data.

According to the changelog, the OxygenOS Open Beta 1 for OnePlus 8T contains the February security patch. In addition, the developers have optimized the device interface, gallery, animation in the weather application, the proprietary Community program, as well as the frame rate in games.
