Xiaomi at the end of this summer announced that it was ditching the Mi brand. The first to lose it was the flagship, which is already called Xiaomi MIX 4. Soon, all the company’s smartphones will be left without the Mi prefix.

You can see in the image below that in the new version of Mi Cloud, the Mi 10 Pro, Mi 9 and Mi 10 models are renamed to Xiaomi 10 Pro, Xiaomi 9 and Xiaomi 10 respectively. On official Xiaomi websites in Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Ukraine and the UK, these smartphones still use the Mi branding.

In the global market, without the Mi prefix, only Xiaomi 11T / 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE phones and the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet are sold so far. Most likely, the mention of Mi will disappear in the smartphones themselves with a software update. But whether the company plans to remove the Mi prefix from the official sites is still unknown.
