In the US, local residents can get a thousand dollars if they completely refuse to use a smartphone for a week. This amount can be gained by taking part in a special action.
The condition is very interesting: for one week people need to stop using smartphones. During this time, it will be possible to use mobile phones for previous years – folding devices.
This action is funded by the provider of Internet services Frontier Communications. But not everything is so simple: the organizer also asks to write a mini-essay in the amount of 100-200 symbols, where participants will have to convince why they should be chosen.
It is not known how many participants will be recruited for the promotion yet.
Also, it has not yet been reported how many applications have been received at the moment.
