A Huawei engineer has created a working prototype of an e-bike with an autopilot.
Huawei engineer Zhihui Jun has created an electric bike that is equipped with a system that allows it to maintain balance in any situation. The developer decided to make such a vehicle after falling off his regular bike during the trip and getting injured.
The e-bike has a number of high-precision sensors that help the rider navigate safely in heavy city traffic. Among the sensors are depth sensors, LiDAR, accelerometer and gyroscope.
The bike is equipped with two powerful brushless electric motors, one of which is responsible for the steering.
As noted by Gizmochina, this is a third-party project of the engineer, he is not going to establish production and sell an electric bike.
