The Secretary of State demanded that the Kremlin change course and stop the war in Ukraine.
The United States will continue to expand the negative consequences for Russia in connection with its invasion of Ukraine, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said after meeting with his NATO and EU counterparts in Brussels.
“We will continue to increase the costs of [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and all those who lead and contribute to his chosen war and the destruction it brings,” the U.S. Secretary of State told reporters. “Russia has never been so isolated, and we have never been more united.”
“If the Kremlin does not change course, it will continue to move along the path of increasing isolation and economic problems,” Blinken said.
