Apple changes packaging for iPhone 13 to protect the environment

Last year, Apple made a lot of noise by removing the charger from its smartphones. This year, after the presentation of the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, there were also changes.

Now the packaging box of the new iPhone 13 has undergone changes. According to the pictures published on the web, the packaging film is no longer on top of the box. Instead, they added a paper “security seal”, which will show if the box was opened, because it is impossible to open it without damaging the seal.

On the official Apple website, this idea is explained, of course, by environmental protection. According to the company, eliminating the use of film in packaging could reduce the amount of plastic used by up to 600 tons.

By the way, Apple plans to remove all plastic from its product packaging by 2025.
