Apple Music Android app gets Spatial Audio and Lossless Audio support

Apple last week added two useful innovations to the Apple Music app on iOS devices and has now announced similar features for Android users.

We are talking about Spatial Audio mode with Dolby Atmos support, which allows you to listen to music with surround sound in AirPods and Beats headphones. The second major innovation is support for Lossless Audio. Both functions can be activated in the program settings.

By the way, in addition to Spatial Audio and Lossless Audio, the new version of the Android application also improved the search, and also added the Automatic Crossfade song listening mode.

All of the above innovations have been added so far only in the beta version of Apple Music v3.6. In the near future, new features will also appear in the stable release.
