Two more people were injured.
One pilot was killed and two others were injured of varying severity as a result of an accident involving two T-38C Talon training jets at Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas. A message about the incident appeared on the base’s website.
According to the military report, one of the injured pilots received help at the medical center and was released, the other was taken by air ambulance to the hospital in critical condition. Other details of the incident have not yet been disclosed.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
