According to the White House press service, issues of regional and global security, relations with Iran and the situation around Ukraine were discussed during the meeting.

Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Jake Sullivan held a meeting with the head of the National Security Council of Israel Eyal Hulta, during which they discussed a number of issues of regional and global security. This is reported by the press service of the White House.

“Mr. Sullivan stressed that the United States understands Israel’s concern about threats to its security, primarily from Iran. <…> An agreement was reached to further strengthen ongoing coordination within the U.S.-Israel Strategic Advisory Group, security and diplomatic cooperation with other regional partners,” the statement said. “Israel’s relations with key countries of the Indo-Pacific region were discussed.”

The White House press service notes that Sullivan and Hulta raised the issue of the situation around Ukraine and the “need to continue to support” Kyiv.
