At the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport in the US state of Florida, some passengers were evacuated due to the danger of an explosion.

“Employees of the sheriff’s office… they were informed about the threat of an explosion. As a precautionary measure, employees evacuated terminals 2 and 3, and also blocked the entrance to the airport,” the local sheriff’s office said on Twitter.

It is noted that the team of sappers is conducting an investigation.

The sheriff’s office recommends avoiding visiting the area where the airport is located.
