Australia has imposed a package of sanctions against 22 employees of the Russian media, including the editor-in-chief of RT Margarita Simonyan.
This was reported by the Australian Interior Ministry.
The ministry’s message states that Australia’s sanctions are being imposed on a number of Russian citizens, including Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Russian RT TV channel, Tigran Keosayan, director and TV presenter, and Olga Skabeeva, a journalist of the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
Employees of the Strategic Culture Foundation electronic publication and the Inforos and Newsfront news agencies were also sanctioned.
