Multiple NBA All-Star and Basketball Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor has died at 87, according to the Los Angeles Lakers Twitter page.
Baylor has played for the Minneapolis / Los Angeles Lakers as a player. Following his retirement, he worked as a coach for the New Orleans Jazz and vice president for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Baylor has played 11 NBA All-Star Games. In 1959, he was voted the best rookie of the season, and in 2006 was honoured as the best manager of the NBA season. In 1977, Baylor was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
