Battlefield 2042 system requirements released

EA and DICE continue to pump the news about Battlefield 2042. The developers have published the requirements that a PC must meet to run a shooter.

The minimum requirements were found to be quite modest. They look like this:

  • OS – Windows 10 (x64);
  • processor – Intel Core i5-6600K / AMD FX-8350 or more powerful;
  • video card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 560 or more powerful;
  • RAM – 8 GB or more.

But with the recommended requirements, everything is much more interesting. They are higher than for Cyberpunk 2077:

  • OS – Windows 10 (x64);
  • processor – Intel Core i7-4790K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or better;
  • video card – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 560 0 XT or more powerful;
  • RAM – from 16 GB.

From the name of the game it is clear in which year the action will unfold. This time the player will have to solve the conflict between the two states on the basis of refugee migration and climate change. Battlefield 2042 will be available for purchase starting October 22 this year. The test run starts on August 12 and will last for four days. During this time, six game sessions will be held with a total duration of 24 hours.
