According to the U.S. president, some countries do not agree with this decision.

The U.S. President Joe Biden said that he supports the exclusion of the Russian Federation from the Group of Twenty, recognizing that some other countries do not agree with such a step.

“As for the Group of Twenty, my answer is yes,” Biden said at a press conference in Brussels on Thursday, answering a question about whether he considers it appropriate to exclude the Russian Federation from this format.

“This issue was discussed today. I also voiced the possibility that this may not happen,” Biden said. “If Indonesia and other countries do not agree, then I think we should consider giving Ukraine the opportunity to attend the meetings, give it the opportunity to attend the G20 [summit],” the American leader stressed.
