Washington is interested in a strong European Union. U.S. President Joe Biden said this to Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi at a meeting at the White House on Tuesday.
“I believe that it is in the interests of the United States for the EU to be strong,” the American leader said.
“[Russian President Vladimir] Putin thought he could split us. But we’ve all stepped up,” Biden argued.
