The president is healthy and energetic, he can continue to fulfill his duties, Kevin O’Connor’s report says.

U.S. President Joe Biden is healthy and energetic; his condition allows him to continue to perform the duties of the head of state. This is stated in the report of the American leader’s doctor, published by the White House.

“President Biden, who is 78 years old, remains healthy, active, he is able to successfully fulfill the duties of the president, including the functions of the head of the executive branch of government, head of state, commander-in-chief,” the document emphasizes. The report was prepared by Kevin O’Connor, who was Biden’s attending physician for many years.

Specialists during the colonoscopy procedure performed by Biden found a polyp and removed it, histological examination will be completed next week.

“The polyp was removed without difficulty. The histological examination is expected to be completed next week. The president has never had bowel cancer,” the report says.

The president’s doctor also recommended that he undergo an additional medical examination due to his frequent cough and due to the fact that his gait has become less free.

“During his speeches, the President began to feel sore throat and cough more often and more strongly,” the document says. The doctor states that this has become especially pronounced in “the last few months.” According to him, “the symptom is obviously permanent and deserves a thorough examination.” The report also says that Biden’s “gait has become noticeably tenser and less free than a year or so ago.” As the doctor also believes in this case, “a more detailed examination would be appropriate.”

The American leader underwent a regular medical examination at the Walter Reed U.S. Navy Hospital in the Washington suburb of Bethesda (Maryland). Following the procedure, he stated that he felt great. The oldest American president in the history of the United States stressed that he was “in great shape” and joked that he was “looking forward to celebrating his 58th birthday.” He turns 79 on Saturday.
