US Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed the appointment of Amos Hochstein as a senior adviser on energy issues; he will be engaged in the implementation of measures “to reduce risks” associated with the “Nord stream – 2” pipeline. This is stated in a written statement issued on Tuesday by the chief of American diplomacy.
“I am appointing Amos Hochstein to the post of senior adviser to the State Department on energy security,” he said. “Its immediate task will be to take measures aimed at reducing the risks posed by the “Nord stream-2″ pipeline,” Blinken said.
