California-based Blizwheel has released a foldable compact electric scooter on Kickstarter. The standard version comes with a 200W motor on each wheel. It provides a top speed of up to 19 km / h and a cruising range of about 13 km. The Pro model, in turn, is equipped with two 300W motors for a higher top speed of 24 km / h. He can travel 24 km before he needs to recharge the battery.
The electric scooter is distinguished by a special mechanism, thanks to which the electronic scooter folds up to dimensions of 396 × 162.5 × 99 mm. It is convenient to carry it between trips in a backpack or place it in your carry-on luggage. The standard model weighs 3.9 kg, while the Pro model weighs 5.4 kg. Integrated carry handle for easy transport. Also, the electronic scooter can be partially folded to roll the scooter rather than carrying it.
At the top of the telescopic steering wheel is the digital instrument cluster. The frame is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and the wheels provide 58mm ground clearance for the standard version or 82mm for the Pro model.
The standard Blizwheel model costs $ 299, the Pro version is $ 499. If all goes according to plan, scooter deliveries will begin in May 2022.
