The station should start operating between 2025 and 2030.

American companies Blue Origin and Sierra Space have announced plans to build a commercial space station. The corresponding statement was posted on the companies’ website on Monday.

“Blue Origin and Sierra Space today announced plans to [create] a commercial space station Orbital Reef, which will be located in low Earth orbit,” reads a statement published on the Blue Origin website.

In addition to them, Boeing, Redwire Space, Genesis Engineering Solutions, and Arizona State University will participate in the project.

According to the release, the station will start operating between 2025 and 2030.
