On Tuesday, November 23, aerospace company Blue Origin announced the composition of the new crew.

Blue Origin announced today that it will be in the crew of its upcoming December 9 flight NS-19. Six people will take part in the flight. Among the attendees are two guests of honor – the famous Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan and Laura Shepard Churchley, Alan Shepard’s eldest daughter. Recall that this is the first American to fly into space.

Four more passengers paid for their tickets: space executive and philanthropist Dylan Taylor, investor Evan Dick, Bess Ventures founder Lane Bess and Cameron Bess. Lane and Cameron Bess will be the first parent-child couple to fly into space.

The launch is scheduled for 8 a.m. El Paso, Texas time from the Blue Origin launch site north of Van Horn. It is a city located in western Texas about 170 km southeast of El Paso.
