The resumption of operation of Boeing 737 Max aircraft will happen later than expected in the leadership of the American Corporation.

According to unnamed sources publications Wall Street Journal in the aircraft industry and the Federal aviation administration (FAA), permission to resume flights Boeing 737 Max can be issued only at the end of the summer of this year.

Boeing’s proposal to install the updated MCAS (Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System) system may be formally approved by us regulators on May 23, but the further process of implementing the update and certification of the updated system will require several months. As a result, the resumption of flights of 737 Max series aircraft can begin only at the end of the summer season. At the end of April 2019, the media reported that Boeing expected to resume flights by mid-July.

In March 2019 Boeing 737 Max flights were suspended worldwide after two disasters that occurred in Indonesia and Ethiopia within 5 months.

In early May, it became known that Boeing knew about the emergence of potential problems in the new 737 Max aircraft more than a year before the disaster in Indonesia in 2018, but preferred not to report it.
