Boeing 757-200, one of the largest American airlines Delta Air Lines, made an emergency landing at the airport in Salt Lake City; according to reports, no one was hurt, said the Federal aviation administration (FAA) television channel WGN.

It is noted that the airliner made an emergency landing due to problems with the left engine. Presumably, he was heading from Atlanta to Seattle.

“A Delta Air Lines Boeing 757-200 changed course for Salt Lake City International Airport and successfully landed on Monday morning after problems with the left engine,” the FAA said.

The agency will check what happened.

Last Saturday, due to an engine malfunction, fragments of the skin of a passenger Boeing 777 United Airlines fell in a residential area near the American city of Denver (Colorado); the plane returned safely to Denver shortly after departure. There is no information about injuries on board or as a result of falling debris.
