Aviation concern Boeing after the crash of the liner 737 MAX 8 in Ethiopia has not received a single order for the purchase of aircraft family 737, writes The Wall Street Journal.
According to the publication, in March, the company was able to sell only 11 aircraft 737 MAX. This figure is half the rate of sales in the previous two months of this year. WSJ notes that in January Boeing was able to sell 24 aircraft generation MAX, and in February — 27.
The newspaper reports that more than 4.6 thousand orders for 737 MAX aircraft are in the waiting stage. Also, the company before the disaster in Ethiopia received 78 orders for previous generations 737.
