The company does not have corporate restaurants in Russia.

The American fast food restaurant chain Burger King has announced the suspension of corporate support for the Russian market. This is stated in a statement published on Thursday on the company’s website.

“Burger King suspended all corporate support for the Russian market, including marketing and supply chain, and also refused to approve investments and expansion [of the network],” the statement said.

It is noted that the company does not have corporate restaurants in Russia. All operating Burger King catering outlets operate under a franchise under the direction of the local chief franchisee.

On March 2, the company’s press service told that “Burger King will continue to operate in Russia and open new restaurants in 2022.”
