The American startup Canoo recently held an online event to showcase its new electric car.
We are talking about a pickup truck that will compete with the Tesla Cybertruck and Hummer EV. The car received a futuristic appearance, which is somewhat reminiscent of the 1977 Volkswagen T2 in the same body. The novelty will be equipped with one or two electric motors to choose from. The top version will have 600 hp, 745 Nm of torque and a battery with a range of more than 320 km. The pickup is 1920 mm high, 4677 mm long (5400 mm with retractable rear), 1980 mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2850 mm.
The Canoo pickup boasts a modular design and various organizers. For example, the car has folding sides with additional features, side storage for things, a transformer rack that can be installed on the roof, a structure with a tent for traveling and much more.
The Canoo pickup will be pre-ordered in the second quarter of this year, with deliveries starting in 2023. How much the novelty will cost will be told a little later.
