Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang said that the Chinese side is deeply concerned about the situation in the country.
China is striving for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine taking into account the interests of all interested parties, Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang said on Friday.
“The Chinese side is deeply concerned about the situation in Ukraine, we sincerely hope for its early settlement,” he said at a press conference. “China always adheres to the principles of mutual respect when interested parties take into account each other’s interests.”
According to the head of government, Beijing intends to pursue a “free, independent and peaceful policy” in resolving the Ukrainian issue.
“When building bilateral relations, we never act against a third party,” he stressed.
