The authorities of the American city of Sunland Park banned a group of activists to build metal barriers near the border with Mexico. Despite the fact that the work was carried out in a private area, the authorities decided to stop the construction, because the owners have not received the appropriate permits.
“If the Democrats do not provide funds for what the American people voted in 2016, we will do it ourselves,” – said in a group called “We are building a wall,” which set a goal to protect the country from the flow of illegal migrants and drug trafficking.
The group has already raised $ 23 million for its purposes and promised to resume construction. “We will provide more information to the city and hope that the work will continue in the near future,” said the lawyer representing the interests of activists. To date, about 800 meters of the fence has been built.
