According to opinion polls, Democrats in New Hampshire, as in Iowa, are going to support Pete Buttigieg and Bernie Sanders.

Participants in the Democratic presidential race on Saturday competed with each other for the sympathy of voters on the eve of the next test-the first party primaries, which are traditionally held in the state of New Hampshire in the Northeast of the United States.

Sen. Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, received roughly the same number of votes after the party finally summed up the Iowa Caucuses that took place on Monday. Both candidates declared victory. Senator Elizabeth Warren took third place, while former Vice President Joe Biden was only able to take fourth place.

The delay in the publication of the results Caucus caused technical problems that marred the coming primaries in New Hampshire.

On the eve of the primary, which will be held on Monday, sociologists from Suffolk University surveyed Democrats living in New Hampshire and planning to take part in the vote. According to the results of the poll, in New Hampshire, the preferences of Democrats are not too different from Iowa: 38-year-old Buttigieg and 78-year-old Sanders again led the popularity rating.

25% of respondents expressed support for Buttigieg, who is only one percentage point behind Sanders: 24% of Democrats in New Hampshire decided to support the Senator. Senator Elizabeth Warren, who holds progressive views, is ready to support 14%, and 11% are going to vote for Joe Biden, according to a poll conducted this week. At the same time, 7% of the survey participants have not yet made a final decision.

500 democratic voters attended the poll, which was conducted over two days. The poll has a margin of error of about 4.4 percentage points. Buttigieg’s rating increased by 14 points in comparison with the first survey, the results of which were published on February 3.

Taking into account the disappointing numbers in the opinion poll, Joe Biden decided to spend Saturday morning meeting with volunteers and distributing food to needy residents of the city of Manchester on the street, despite the strong wind and cold weather. Biden did not make any statements to the press.

During yesterday’s debate, Biden admitted that he might not win the New Hampshire primary. After reporters asked him if he would withdraw from the primary, Biden’s staff said that the candidate would continue his campaign in the state and take part in the first primaries in the country.
