Twenty presidential candidates from the Democratic Party will take part in a two-day debate.
The Democratic Party of the United States will hold the first debate of US presidential candidates who are fighting for the party nomination. The debate will be held on June 26-27 in Miami, Florida.
The candidates will be divided into two groups of ten. The National Committee of the Democratic Party limited the list of participants to the 20 strongest candidates, who were selected on the basis of the results of surveys and the size of their donations. As a result, four candidates were not allowed to participate in the debate.
Senators Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker, as well as Beto O’Rourke, a former member of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, will take part on the first day of the debate.
On the second day, on the discussion will meet the current leader of the race – former Vice President of USA, Joe Biden, senators Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris, and Pete Buttigieg, mayor of the city of South Bend, Indiana.
NBC, together with MSNBC and Telemundo, will broadcast the debate
