The businessman stressed that the new terminals of the global satellite communication system are already on the way.

Elon Musk announced that he had opened access to his global Starlink satellite communication system on the territory of Ukraine.

“Starlink services are now provided in Ukraine. New terminals are on the way,” he wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

Starlink is a project of a global satellite communication system. It was developed by the American company SpaceX, founded by Musk in 2002. The Starlink system is designed to provide Internet access to users around the world by deploying a large number of small vehicles (weighing up to 500 kg) in near-Earth orbit.

Previously, Starlink was available in 28 countries around the world, including North America, a number of countries in Europe, Latin America, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
