Publisher Assemble Entertainment and studio Gentlymad have announced that the post-apocalyptic city-builder Endzone – A World Apart will be released on current-generation consoles. The release on the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 is scheduled for May 19.

For owners of new consoles, a special Survivor Edition is being prepared. It includes the base game and the first and so far only Prosperity expansion. The recently announced DLC Distant Places is also scheduled to release in May, but only on Steam for starters. Obviously, it will get to consoles later.

Endzone – A World Apart will appeal to fans of games like Banished, Frostpunk and Surviving the Aftermath. Players will have to take control of the last settlement of people who have made it to the surface after 150 years of living in a bunker after a nuclear holocaust.
