Russian anti-aircraft missile systems S-400 will arrive in Turkey within 10 days. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated it.

He said that Ankara has not yet received reports of possible sanctions by the United States for the purchase of Russian weapons. In June, it was reported that Washington is not going to be limited to the refusal to sell Turkey F-35 for the purchase of S-400 and is considering the introduction of three additional packages of sanctions. It was reported that restrictive measures can be applied in July.

On June 28, the US Senate banned the sale of F-35 to Turkey. In the US and other NATO countries fear that if Ankara will be in service and the S-400, and F-35, the Russian radar systems will learn to calculate and track American fighters.

The agreement on Russia’s supply of four S-400 divisions to the Turkish side was reached in September 2017. The cost of the contract is $ 2.5 billion. The Russian loan will cover half of this amount.
