The increase in aid volumes was announced by Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen.

Finland has decided to send a new batch of defense materials to Ukraine, saying that this war-torn country has requested assistance from the European Union and NATO member countries.

“We will increase the volume of assistance in the form of defense materials that we send to Ukraine,” Finnish Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen said.

On Thursday, the President of Finland approved the Finnish government’s proposal for an additional supply of defense materials.

There is no information about the materials in question.

Finland, which is a member of the EU but not a member of NATO, previously sent Ukraine bulletproof vests, composite helmets, stretchers, as well as machine guns, anti-tank weapons and dry rations.
