Japanese startup A.L.I. Technologies showed a heavy flying bike with a power reserve of 40 minutes. It is powered by an internal combustion engine.

The new Xturismo is powered by internal combustion engines and is powered by two large main propellers. With such a design, the total weight also seriously increases, it is 300 kg. Despite this, the device can travel 100 km/h at maximum speed.

The maximum flight duration is as much as 40 minutes; on average, electric analogs spend less time in the air.

The developers note that due to the high autonomy of the vehicle, it can be used not only for recreational flights, but also during rescue operations.

The price of the Xturismo for pre-order is approximately 77.7 million yen, or $ 682 thousand. The company said that the start of deliveries will take place in the first half of 2022. The production capacity will be enough to assemble up to 200 devices per year.

Companies such as Kyocera and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital have already invested in the startup idea.
