France will increase the supply of military equipment to Ukraine, Agence France-Presse reports with reference to the Elysee Palace.

“It was decided to deliver additional military equipment to the Ukrainian authorities, as well as fuel support,” the statement says, an excerpt from which the agency cites.

According to him, the decision was made following a meeting of the Defense and Security Council at the Elysee Palace.

Earlier, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that an extraordinary council of EU foreign Ministers on Ukraine is scheduled for Sunday evening, February 27. According to him, further measures in support of Ukraine will be discussed there. Among other things, Borrell will offer a package of emergency assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces.
