The French container carrier CMA CGM has announced the suspension of its work in Russia due to the situation in Ukraine, the company reports.
“We continue to monitor the situation in Ukraine and the Black Sea region… In the interests of its security, the group has decided to suspend all orders from Russia from today until a decision on further actions is made,” the company said in a statement.
It is also noted that CMA CGM will take the necessary precautions to protect its IT systems and personal data. The Company will continue to monitor the situation and take additional measures to ensure the safety of its employees and transported goods.
