TOKYO -The main topics of the upcoming G20 summit, which will be held from 28 to 29 June in Osaka, should be the situation in the global economy and trade, as well as issues related to the environment. On Friday said a source in the Japanese Foreign Ministry.

“Among the planned topics for discussion should be the global economy, trade and investment, innovation, climate change, and the environment,” he said. In particular, with regard to the economy, the leaders of the G20 countries intend to reaffirm the importance of ensuring global economic growth, as well as ensuring fair and free trade.

The summit also planned to address the issue of creating an international system for the taxation of digital corporations. This issue was raised at the meeting of Finance Ministers and heads of Central Banks of the G20 in Fukuoka in early June. Among the environmental problems, attention will be paid, including the problems of plastic debris in the ocean.
