Nubia introduced the Red Magic 6 gaming smartphone in March this year and is now working on a new model – Red Magic 7.

The device was spotted in the database of the Chinese certification bureau 3C. The novelty comes with the model number NX679J. According to the documents, the smartphone will be able to boast a record high charging capacity of 165 watts. For comparison, the company’s current smartphones support charging at a maximum of 120 watts.

There are no other specifications for the Nubia Red Magic 7 yet, but with a high degree of probability, the device will be powered by a fresh Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. Recall that this is a 4-nanometer SoC with one Cortex-X2 core (3.0 GHz), three Cortex-A710 cores (2.5 GHz), and four Cortex-A510 cores (1.8 GHz).

Nubia Red Magic 7 will not be released any time soon. The device should be presented in the first half of 2022.
