The American automaker General Motors suspends the export of cars to Russia. This was reported by Fox Business TV channel with reference to the automaker’s statement.

According to him, deliveries are being stopped for an indefinite period. The company stressed that it “continues to monitor developments” in the situation around Ukraine and is taking measures to “reduce the negative impact” of sanctions. In turn, the Detroit Free Press newspaper quotes a comment from a representative of the automaker, who stressed that General Motors’ exports to Russia were suspended “due to a number of external factors, including disruptions in the supply chain and other issues beyond the company’s control.”
