German authorities have arrested in Hamburg the 156-meter yacht of the Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, who fell under EU sanctions. This is reported by Forbes with reference to three sources in the yacht business.

The cost of the Dilbar yacht is estimated at $ 600 million. She has been under repair at the Hamburg shipyard Blohm+Voss since October last year. Forbes sources report that on Wednesday, workers engaged in repairing the yacht did not come to work due to her arrest. Representatives of Usmanov have not yet given comments.

Usmanov’s yacht was produced according to the author’s project in 2016, it was built for almost 5 years. This is the largest yacht in the world by displacement – almost 16 thousand tons. The yacht has, in particular, the largest swimming pool in the history of yachts, two helipads, a sauna.

Usmanov was included in the sanctions list on Monday in connection with Russia’s armed invasion of Ukraine – along with other major Russian businessmen. According to Forbes, a total of 32 mega-yachts belong to Russian billionaires.
