Users complain that the alarm simply does not work: the maximum is that the screen lights up at the appointed time, but there is no sound signal or at least no vibration. Then the display shows the missed alarm signal.
“This has been my favorite alarm clock app over the years. For the past two weeks I have been late for school and work because he stopped working. I even set an alarm and watched it until it went off. All that happened was the screen on my phone turned on. (Yes, my volume has increased.) No notifications, nothing. I have no choice but to uninstall it and find a new alarm clock app. I’m surprised Google hasn’t fixed this bug yet. Obviously, by the number of bad reviews over the past few days, I’m not crazy,” wrote one outraged user on Google Play.
Another user said, “Like everyone said, the alarm function DOESN’T WORK ANYMORE. GENERALLY. I thought I had an impressive new ability, but I just missed the alarm as it didn’t even go off. I checked, double checked, reset alarms, etc.”
Some people associate the error with the integration with Spotify: they say, if you have installed a melody from the service, the alarm will not work. So choosing a standard melody can help in this case. Others complain that the alarm does not go off due to the Do Not Disturb mode.
In any case, Google has not yet resolved this issue. Apparently, the employees themselves slept through everything because of the inoperative alarm clock.
